Sarah Krapfel - Sales - Greater Charleston & Georgetown Counties

Sarah arrived at Grand Ideas in December 2007 and didn’t waste any time getting into the swing of things. She thrives in the creative, not-a-dull-moment atmosphere and enjoys being a part of our dynamic team. Sarah’s enthusiasm is contagious - it’s evident in her interaction with customers, vendors and colleagues alike. With a background in interior design and textiles, she has an eye for high-quality, well-designed products. Customers also appreciate her strong work ethic and desire to find just the right item for their particular need. But what Sarah loves the most is seeing the excitement in a customer’s eyes when she presents a unique 'grand idea' that they haven’t seen before. That keeps her motivated to stay on top of the latest trends and well-informed about new products available.

Originally from Hickory, NC, Sarah attended North Carolina State University where she received a BS in Textile and Apparel Management. After graduating in 2005, she moved to Charleston, where she has remained ever since. Prior to joining Grand Ideas, Sarah worked as an independent Interior Design Consultant and then at Celadon Home in Mt. Pleasant. Interior design continues to be a hobby of hers, along with cooking, yoga, and playing with her Irish terrier, Lucy.
