Angie Rylands - Director of Finance & Operations
Angie joined the Grand Ideas team in January 2008 as Director of Finance & Operations. Angie's educational and professional background make her uniquely qualified for this new position at Grand Ideas. After graduating from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, she went on to earn a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification in 2004. Angie then accepted a position as Project Manager for Capital One Financial in Richmond, VA. There, she gained key financial and corporate management experience, including general bookkeeping, management of financial transactions, budget forecasting, tracking sales and commissions, sales personnel training and human resource management. Angie brings an aptitude for structure, matter-of-fact thinking and an ability to see the big picture while keeping the details in focus.
Yes, she's a numbers and tactical planning sort of gal, but Angie's talents extend far beyond the work place. She and her husband, Tom, are deeply involved in their church, East Cooper Baptist in Mt. Pleasant. Among other community service activities, Angie plays the French horn in her church orchestra and is vocally gifted as well.
Angie and Tom relocated from VA in 2004, and they currently reside in North Charleston. She is most proud of being a mother to her son, Tommy.
